"Howdy Partner!................."

Hello! Another week is upon us and its time for MMSC Sketch Challenge #63. The sketch this week can be fancy or clean and simple. Your choice!

Our sponsers are : D'Amour Allure and Sew Many Cards!

Here are this weeks sketches......

This week I chose another image from Sew Many Cards called "Donkey and Boot". He is the cutest little donkey I've seen. I really had fun creating with him

The DP's are from Martha Stewart, and DCWV. The boot was printed on a piece of craft leather from Michael's and then pieced onto the digi image. Additional pieces were printed out and glued on top of the boot for futher dimension. The donkey was colored using a combination of copic markers and prismacolor  pencils/gamsol. The hat, stear skull and cactus are stamps from a set at GinaK Designs. The stear skull was made out of air dry clay. I took a small amount and stamped my image into the clay. I then cut around the outline and let it dry. To give it some depth, after drying I used a painbrush dipped in water and a little bit of black water dye ink, just so the inky color would settle in the ridges and show up the detail a bit more. Twine and a horseshoe stamped onto a piece of copper foil finished the look. I think he's a dandy donkey for sure.

THANKS FOR STOPPING BY AND HOPE TO SEE YOU AGAIN NEXT WEEK!
