MMSC #67........

Hello everyone, we have some wonderful announcements for you today. First, we are just thrilled to have three new additions to the MM Design team for the next few months. Below you will find out a little bit about each of them. They are each so talented and will add their own special flair to the MMSC each week.

Next, I am so excited and proud to reveal the first ever “priscillastyles” Design Team.

Connie M.
I was born and raised in hot and sunny southern Arizona, where I still currently reside. In June, 1994, I married my high school sweetheart and best friend, and we have two wonderful children together. Paper crafting has been a passion of mine for many years. I have been stamping on and off since shortly after I got married in 1994. However, in 2004, one of my dear friends got me majorly hooked on stamping again. A few years later, I was introduced to SplitCoastStampers (SCS) where you may know me as cmc2stamp. I have learned so much from the other wonderfully talented stampers on SCS, and my own stamping style has grown by leaps an bounds over the last few year! I have an ever growing gallery on SCS, and a blog McStampin Dusk Til' Dawn which I started in September 2008. In addition to stamping, I really enjoy the outdoors - camping and hiking, and spending time with my loving family!
I have been a fan of Priscilla's Midnight Madness Sketch Challenges since week one!! I am so excited to be joining such a wonderfully talented design teem for the next three months!!

Darn, this is so exciting! Thank you Priscilla for the honor of being a Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge Guest Designer. I'm sure this will be a wonderful AND FUN journey; you and the gals have already made me feel so welcome. That and the inspiration keep me coming back for more. Plus, I am a born encourager, so I'm thrilled to get in there and give lots of Kudos to y'all too!Anyway, "Hi!" I'm a Holly who was born in the summer (not Christmas) in Wyoming. (Probably why I say "Darn!") Yes, I love cowboys and camping and cross country skiing. Something about the Arizona desert where I have lived for a long time gets my heart right there too.
Eleven years ago I married my hero and we moved from sunny AZ to Washington State. I was home alone a lot, and as bored work-widow I started scrapbooking. And I couldn't stop. You know, the wedding, the honeymoon. . . then later the house, the new puppy, and now, my two beautiful daughters, my muses Tessa (3) and Izzy (21 mo.)During the last 3 years, with the help of inspiring blogs like this one, I started to really branch out. Now I dabble in (okay, I am downright addicted to) all sorts of delicious paper projects. Oh, yeah and I like to sing, "Let's get this party started right. . ." is going through my head right now. Probably because I am so excited.

Marsha Sanderlin
I live in Camden, NC (close to the Outer Banks). I am blessed with a wonderful husband, four children and oodles of grandchildren.I have always had a passion for art. I remember drawing pictures for my grandmother when I was just a toddler. I took a few classes over the years but did not get serious again until I started scrapbooking with a group at my church. This led to stamping and I found my niche! I started sending cards to my "secret pal" in my ladies Bible study group and the next thing I knew, I'd volunteered to start a card ministry in our church! I retired a little over three years ago and my craft room has been growing ever since! I love all kinds of techniques and stamp styles, but found my true passion when I was introduced to “vintage” art. My first Midnight Madness challenge was a real eye opener. I have never seen so many sensational creations! The sketches that Priscilla creates week after week are phenomenal and so challenging. I am in awe and admire everyone on the design team, I have never seen so many talented ladies in one group at one time! I feel like I have stretched and grown so much as a designer as I have participated in the challenges week after week. I am just so honored to have been selected as a guest designer and hope I can also be an inspiration to others.

Now here is my "Wags n' Whiskers" creation for this week.

This card was created using papers from DCWV and SU. A spellbinders frame and a new EK Success punch added focal interest. The lattic is covered with MS glitter but didn't photograph well. The flowers are Prima and the image was colored with copic markers. I guess this was my rendition of "clean and simple". Hope to see you next week. I will have my usual  elaborate card to show you. Have a great week all!

Holly
