MMSC65 ENTRY DEADLINE Monday Aug 9th at 5pm PST

This weeks card was created with a real cutie from Michelle Perkett. I really enjoyed coloring her and finding just the right embellishments to set her off. I look forward to creating again with Michelle's images.

The fram was cut out of a brushed silver metallic paper and them lightly sponged with black stazon. After a few failed attempts to find the right color flowers, I decided to make my own using the same silver paper. This way the flowers didn't distract from the focal image and blended into the frame. I have several pewter frames with decorations made out of the same pewter. This was an attempt to recreate that look.

Other details include a copic airbrushed background on Bazzill white textured paper. I then painted on Sparkle Mod Podge for a glittery sky effect. The moon was coated with crystal effects and liberally dusted with coarse MS Glitter. Yellow seed beads strung onto wire were threaded around the frame to give interest. Tulle and little star gems completed the card.

Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you back next week for another fun card!
