Happy Valentine's Day every one! I hope you all had a great day. We went to see "Avatar" in Imax 3-D. What a visual treat that was!! Tonites posting is my "Midnight Madness" sketch clallenge #40. The details can be found HERE: A lot of "fabricating" went into this card. I made the green and pink layers in the flowers with my new "Nellie Snellen" punches. These create a flower much like the primas. These can be seen HERE. The cream color layers were a flower purchased at AC Moore. I think mine and the store bought are very hard to tell apart. The gloves were made from a "Stampington" template that I resized on the computer. I printed 2 out on cardstock and traced over the lines. I then ran them trough the Xyron and applied lace fabric over top. I rubbed glitter over the lace which glued itself to the still exposed stickiness of the xyron. It gives them a bit of sparkle.
Details:
Paper: 2 patterned papers I believe are by "Sandy Lion", and 2 textured sheets (green and pink) purchased @ Joanne Fabrics, GP White
Ink: Ranger Distress "Vintage Photo" (edge sponging), Momento "Angel Pink"(sponged around the gloves), SU marker "Close to Cocoa" ( lined the gloves to give more definition), Stazon black (highlites on the lock and key)
Other: Spellinders die (Lock and Key) cut out of MM metal sheet bought @ Michael's
Nellie Snellen punches ( 2 size flowers, stamen and leaf)
Crystal flourish colored pink with Copic R85
Cuttlebug "Swiss Dot" Embossing folder, cuttlebug "corners" die
I hope you enjoy my challenge card and have a great week!
